DETECTIVES hunting a shoe fetishist, who has plagued a property in Paignton for more than a year, today issued this picture of a man they want to question.
The exclusive CCTV image was captured after officers set up a covert operation to help their investigation into the serial theft of single shoes belonging to teenage girls, which began 13 months ago.
Single shoes from eight pairs -- all size five -- were snatched from the enclosed porch of the property in October last year.
Since then police have received sporadic reports about further thefts.

Some have fake rolex vanished for good.
Det Con Stu Sweatman, who is heading the search for the offender, said: "It's a very unusual criminal matter. It appears we are on the trail of a shoe fetishist."
He said a special operation was set up in an effort to corner the prowler who crept up to the house and helped himself to footwear on several occasions.
"Sometimes the shoes were found just outside the house. Other times they were returned.
"Some have not been seen since. They have been disappearing over the last year or so," he said.

But now officers hope they are nearer to identifying the man after securing the CCTV image.
DC Sweatman said the shoes kept by the family in the porch belong to two teenage girls and their mum. They all wear sizes four or five.
He appealed for anyone with information to give Torbay Police's burglary and vehicle squad a call, especially if they recognised the man in the picture.
"We would like to speak to this person about the matter we are investigating," said DC Sweatman who can be contacted on 01803 841525, quoting crime FP/08/4074.
