Although Thanksgiving is still a few weeks away, holiday shopping events have commenced in Del Mar.

People can shop at more than 70 specialty vendors at the Mistletoe Mercado, set for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 3; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Nov. 4; and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 5 in Exhibit Hall at the Del Mar Fairgrounds.

The JLSD is part of an international organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
The Head to Toe Women's Expo Holiday Show is also coming to the Del Mar Fairgrounds.
Scheduled for 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 10 and 11, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 12, the expo will feature a series of workshops, performances, cooking demonstrations, a fashion show, health
embroidered patches and financial resources, ultimate pampering services, including facials, and holiday shopping opportunities.
A luncheon is planned for Nov. 10 with keynote speaker Michelle Anton, a former producer for Dr. Laura Schlessinger and author of "Weekend Entrepreneur: 101 Great Ways to Earn Extra Cash."
